Figure drawings (time for naked people!)

Life drawings from class!  From top to bottom: one 1-hr study, 20-30 minute studies, 5-minute gestures, and 1-minute gestures.  I looked back at the fruits of my last life drawing class and basically wanted to vomit....gosh.  It's good to know, at least, that I've improved.

Anticipation

Another three-parter!  This round we approached the same subject (an emotion) in three ways: through symbols, metaphor, and narrative. I chose anticipation.

Christmas in October?

I don't know what the deal is, but I keep ending up doing Christmas/holiday related illustrations.  What the heck?  Anyhoo, these are card designs for Illustration Concepts.  We designed potential holiday cards for the UEI Group as a class.  

Holiday Blues

First assignment for Illustration Concepts!  Hopefully the message of this one is self-explanatory, as that's the goal of the assignment: creating an image that uses certain elements to make a statement.

In other news, it's my birthday!  I am now a glorious twenty-one sun-cycles old.  Also school will be starting in two weeks, so hopefully that means regular art updates as I will be forced to flex my artistic muscles once again.
