I haven't checked in for a while! That's because the semester is over and I've moved on to an internship at the American Jazz Museum in Kansas City, MO. This is the first of several more posters to come that I made for the museum, which hosts several different concerts a week. I'm only making images for some of the special events--like this one, occurring during the "Juneteenth" block party going on this Saturday. Following are the initial sketch/color comp, the finished illustration, and the final poster with type added.
